The Best of Xblig: Episode one: The beginning

I play a lot of indie games on Xbox Live, also known as Xblig (Xbox Live Indie Games) for those not in the know, but seeing on how we have the cover art for Murderminers as one of our scrolling pictures on this site, I assume that most of us know about Xblig. Well, I play a lot of game on there, for a number of reasons.  One, because I love supporting indie developers and, two, I really love great low-cost games.

For this round, I feel like I have to tell you about one of my favorite Xblig games of all time:

Tomb Raider (Xbox360) a review

Tomb Raider 2013

Before I start this review I would like you to know that I was not a fan of the Tomb Raider series of games, so I went into playing this with a very skeptical attitude. I was ready to not like this game. With that being said, I loaded up the disk in my 360 and I sat down to play. But little did I know that I was going to go on a ride that made me not want to stop playing. This game was great from beginning to end.

Visuals: Graphically this is one of the best games on the Xbox 360 I have seen. From the beaches, forests, dilapidated mountain side villages, to the underground tombs and palaces, you will find some of the most beautiful and horrific images in all of gamedom (I guess that’s a word).  I will say that I often found myself just lookingaround at the scenery...

Game Demo Haiku Review

 

Here’s something new, I am going to rate a Xblig game demo in haiku form and then come back for a full review later. Ok, so here it goes, review for Rad Raygun:

Awesome 8 bit style

Makes fun of eighties culture

only a dollar
